Google Feed Upgrade
Apr 13, 2014
All feeds to Google Shopping will be upgraded in the next few days with the new Shopping Campaign attributes listed below. You do not need to take any action; this change will be implemented automatically.
- custom_label_0, custom_label_1, custom_label_2, custom_label_3, custom_label_4 - These attributes allow you to subdivide the products in your campaign for monitoring, reporting, and bidding purposes. For more information, refer to the How to use custom labels documentation or call Adwords free phone support. Any of these new fields can be configured with our price breaks feature, which allows you to subdivide your products by price range.
The following fields will be dropped:
- adwords_publish - If you had a filter on this field, we preserved it by setting up a separate custom field and filter.
- adwords_queryparam - This field was unused.
- online_only - This field is no longer used by Google.
Since this is a minor change, we will not be sending another notice when the changes have been implemented.
The fields, adwords_grouping and adwords_labels, are not supported by the new Google Shopping Campaigns. These campaigns will replace the current PLA campaigns in late August, 2014. If you are using the adwords_grouping or adwords_labels fields, we can help you reconfigure your feeds to use the custom_label fields instead.
Also, we wanted to remind you that our new pricing will take effect on May 1, 2014. The new pricing is posted on our pricing page.
