Google FTP Server Update can be disregarded
Aug 23, 2013
You may have received an email from Google with subject, Google Merchant Center FTP Server Update. There is no need to take any action. We upload to the host name, uploads.google.com, without any firewall in between, so any IP address changes they make do not affect your feeds.
On another note, we are supporting more and more shopping carts. Besides Yahoo Store, Magento Stores, BigCommerce, and AspDotNetStorefront, we now support data feeds from Volusion, Shopify, and Magento Go to all the major shopping engines. We also support Google Data Feed Conversion, so we can provide feeds for any shopping cart that can generate a Google Data Feed. Please see the supported e-commerce platforms page for an up-to-date list.
